Who I Am and Why I Founded “Mikveh Israel”
My name is Yosef Krishevsky, father of 11 children, and I have dedicated my life to educational and spiritual work for youth, families, and communities across Israel.
For more than two decades, I have served in leadership roles in the field of education, primarily working with at-risk youth, driven by the belief that every person can find their place and their inner light.
Over the past five years, I have become deeply involved in the world of mikveh construction. I witnessed the devotion of those who work wholeheartedly for the sake of Heaven – alongside the financial, social, and personal challenges that often prevent projects from being realized.
From this connection was born the initiative of “Mikveh Israel” – a platform that bridges open hearts with meaningful action, connecting donors with real, on-the-ground impact.
The Bridge Between Generosity

Our mission is to support trustworthy, supervised projects related to family purity – not only in building mikvaot, but also in community, educational, and social initiatives:
Assistance to families in distress who choose to uphold the laws of family purity;
Support for mikveh attendants (balaniyot) who work with devotion despite financial hardship;
Construction, renovation, and accessibility improvements for new mikvaot across Israel;
Backing for private initiatives, such as Chabad houses or small communities operating without institutional support.
We collaborate with established organizations such as Taharat HaMishpacha, Merkaz HaTaharah, Or LaChayal, and many other community-based initiatives throughout Israel.
All donations are received and managed with complete transparency and are allocated solely to approved projects after thorough review and oversight.
